Prayerwalk Colorado- El Paso County

County Seat: Colorado Springs.

Oh my heart. We so love Boulder Street Church and were members here while we lived in Colorado Springs. We will always know we are connected in a special way to this place and to these brothers and sisters. Today we get the honor of joining them in worship and praise to our King of all Kings, and adding them to our Prayerwalk Colorado journey.

Pastor Joseph Winger, our Melody Pena, Tony and I, and three other faithful ones from BSC joined us today in celebration and prayer over El Paso County. It was heartwarming for us to share what the Lord has told us to do in each county. We are calling down Holy Spirit fire from heaven, spiritually- first on our own hearts, then on our county, state and nation! Tony built the alter in the ground and explained what the Lord told him about Elijah and the 450 prophets of Baal, as recorded in I Kings 18. There is only one response to realization of who the Lord God is. The prophets of Baal, after seeing which “god” was the TRUE God and able to answer by fire, expressed it this way: “The Lord, He is God! The Lord, He is God!” They rightly came to this conclusion when, after Baal didn’t answer their desperate pleas and cries, and after Elijah’s alter was drenched with water over and over, “The fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt offering and the wood and the stones and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.”  I Kings 18:38.

That afternoon was definitely a “fall on your face moment for Elijah and for the prophets of Baal. And, “fall on your face,” they did. Unmistakably and undeniably, everyone that day knew without a doubt, as they stated rightly, “The Lord, He is God!” and today, as we place these memorials in the ground, we remember the same. We declare, “the Lord, He is God!”

Matthew 26:26-29

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”

Then He took a cup, and when He had given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Our precious pastor led us in another “fall on your face moment”, which we come to every time we come to the table of communion. We are on holy ground at Your cross, oh Lord. After sharing this special time together, we placed our symbolic offerings in the ground and prayed over them. The unity we shared today is precious. Pastor Joseph led us in this holy moment with this communion prayer for El Paso County:

“God is wanting to build a “chain of churches” here in our city. We overcome by the Blood of the Lamb. We receive healing by the broken body of Christ!  Jesus, You were broken for my brokenness, for my brothers and sister’s brokenness, for the brokenness of Your bride, Lord. Your bride is so broken! Release divine miraculous gifts of healing in our county; release the authoritative gifts of healing in our county. Bring healing for the body of Christ- spirit, soul and body! Thank You for Your brokenness, Jesus!”

“Let the power and authoritative grace and forgiveness of the blood of Jesus, even Your blood, have its full sway in El Paso County, every microscopic and subatomic particle of Your blood that You shed for El Paso County. We seven claim it, IN JESUS’ NAME! ”

“Blessed be the Lord, because He has heard the voice of my supplication. The Lord is my strength and my shield, my heart trusts in Him and I am helped. Therefore my heart is glad, and with my song I shall thank Him!” Psalm 28:6-7

And, we do. We claim Your blood over this county and we worship You on this holy ground this day. We seal this offering with worship and adoration of the Lamb!

“But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, He gave the right to become children of God.” John 1:12.

Thank You, God; we are so grateful for this time to share with these ones we love so much. Thank You for making us family! Thank You for Your people here lifting Your Name in El Paso County, and for this precious time we shared today!”
