County Seat: Golden.
As we said in Part One, Jefferson County brought many divine appointments! Our second stop was Mosaic Church in Littleton, CO. They advertise that they are a “Jesus Centered Community” and we certainly found that to be true. As soon as we entered, we were blessed to be greeted by two sweet women who were on staff and very eager to make us feel welcome. What a special time of fellowship we shared with Shoni and Terri, and what bright lights these ladies were to us. They stopped their work to spend a bit of time with us and were more than willing to join our prayers with theirs over Mosaic Church, the Littleton community, as well as personal needs. Thank You Lord for these two women of God, and may they be blessed greatly for their kindness to us. Lord, watch over their loved ones as they navigate this life, and let them ever and always stay close to Your heart. Wrap around them Your great arms of love and thank You for the love that poured out of them for three strangers that wandered into their lives this day.

Our last Jefferson County church today was also in Littleton, at the beautiful Red Rocks Fellowship. We had barely gotten out of our car, and there was Office Manager Anna hurrying out to meet us and excited we were coming! To our great blessing, another church member had happened to be there, and we were so pleased to meet Lauren, director of the kid’s ministry and her amazing daughter Claire. They stopped what they were doing in their busy day, and welcomed us in. We were able to meet the pastor as well, who was equipped with a warm and welcoming smile. Anna had some places picked out for our prayer and offerings, and we all decided on a place out front, right in front of their big beautiful cross. Oh Lord God, we pray again for Red Rocks Church and for the town of Littleton. Let people be drawn to You by the love and warmth that is extended to them through these people. Let those who come here never doubt they are loved and let Littleton be drawn to Your heart! As Tony made our little “well” in the ground, he placed the flat rock and sticks in the land, symbolizing the altar of our hearts. Everyone took part and prayed through each of our symbols. Claire poured some mustard seed into the altar, then threw some into the wind, as we prayed that God would carry seeds of faith all across the county and grow strong trees with good roots in the hearts of Littleton. A chain link was placed in the ground, as we asked God to bind the hearts of His church together as one body in unity. Jeremiah 10:6-7 was added in a small container, as our theme verse for this journey. (See Home Page.) Finally, water symbolizing the water of the Word, and oil symbolizing the Holy Spirit and the anointing and presence of God, were poured over the offerings. As Tony covered the offerings, we all blew shofars in reverence and worship to the Lord! Inside the church building, we sat together in fellowship and worshiped the Lord in unity. It was a precious time. We discovered Claire is a lover of music and is learning to play the piano. Lord, grow this in her heart, that she will use the songs she writes for Your glory to draw many into the Kingdom! She even dances for the Lord; what an amazing young lady. We were so blessed to spend this time with these precious ones. Thank You for Red Rocks Church and the Light they bring to Littleton.

Bless them Lord and help them be a united and strong body of believers as they serve and worship The King of Kings! Let this lighthouse shine brightly and show the way to You!
